Just found out that mirin2234 passed away last year. Overdose. I’m still in shock.

Old news I know, I just don’t have anyone to vent about this. I use this forum as my personal blog.

It hit me harder than I expected. We weren’t IRL friends, but during the COVID era we talked a lot. We were both struggling with addiction, we shared the same traumas. Both trying to numb things we couldn’t talk about in real life. And in some twisted way, we understood each other better than anyone else in the shithole that .org is.

He was one of the few people I could actually talk to who didn’t just say “damn bro that’s wild”. There was something real in him.

He helped more than he probably knew. And now he’s gone.

Rest in peace brother, you deserved better.
