To be fair it includes 105 from “yesterday,” so technically it’s 395 that I did since I woke up today. But yes, it’s crazy. I checked last year’s stats and it was just 9. JFL.

I spend about 5 secs/card. If the word doesn’t come to me, I usually just flip the card right away

Yeah I read the sentence if I get the word wrong but it doesn’t take me long

The sentence honestly helps, sometimes you can tell from the context what the word is.

Just go on VNDB and pick whatever interests you (then you can check JPDB to look up the difficulty). I can give you recs but if you don’t like them you’re going to feel discouraged. The whole point of doing Anki is to read and consume media you’re actually into

I am openminded. I can get into anything, trust me. So share some recs that are beginner-friendly that I can check out. I want to be able to watch movies w/o subtitles but it’s easier to understand when written down instead of when I have to listen.
