“Our ancestors didnt wear sunscreen its unnatural”

people often confuse, or often attribute previous behaviours in history to well thought out systems.

instead they're just compromising for the knowledge of the time and the technology available.

if people were made aware of the effect of sun expose to the collagen in the human face, obviously there wouldn't be an issue of "historical inconsistency".

sun is very good for u, but yeah, during the afternoon u can protect ur skin, but instead of sunscreen u can use an umbrella
this thread was about people like you

Of course the sun is good for you, but that doesnt mean it doesnt visibly age you. Aging skin is natural and not unhealthy, but do we want it? No.

yeah, and biology is rarely explained by a single variable, so saying only sun leads to damage is false, but whatever, ya excessive sun exposure is bad, and sunscreen doesnt do a good job protecting ur skin anyways, use an umbrella

is it effective to sleep with red light therapy?

sleeping in a room prominently red causes less sleep quality, but I would consider it for sake of improved skin.
tbh, I get so sleepy when exposeed to red light, but red light therapy is cope , led red light doesnt do much, sun set is the best red light

if it is a 1% increase in quality of my skin that compounds every night whilst I sleep, that's quite a large improvement over a year.

don't just disregard it.

Strawmanning. When did I say sun is the only cause of aging?

ya excessive sun exposure is bad,
Youre the one thinking in only one lane. As ive tried to get through to you several times now, yes the sun is good for you, but it doesnt mean it doesnt visibly age you. How about the sun being able to contribute both positive and negative factors?

I mean if your ancestors have a large amount of melanocytes I guess
whys everyone retarded today or did I forget the forums usual level of intelligence? Its really a simple thread to understand imo.

Premise 1: Our ancestors didnt wear sunscreen, visibly wouldve aged horribly if they had a longer lifespan.

Premise 2: There is nothing unhealthy or unnatural about looking old when you are old.

Premise 3: Today, we care more about looking young at an old age, despite of aging being natural.

Conclusion:
Even though wearing sunscreen is unnatural and not done by our ancestors, they “suffered” the consequences of natural aging.

To say that the sun ages you, is not the same as saying the sun is unhealthy, because visible skin aging is not unhealthy nor unnatural.

Sunscreen is unnatural, and so is having perfect skin at an older age.

Its a simple miscommunication and logical fallacy that people make, that because sunscreen hasnt been used before its unnecessary. If you want to age in an unnatural way, sunscreen is necessary.

I wasn’t talking about the esthetic , I was speaking about risks of skin cancer . Might have misunderstood the post .
