10 years gap is really nothing in a relationship

28 and 18 is also a 10 year age gap. why is it only the 30+ year old allowed to date down?
 
I know age gap relationships that worked. But a lot of it is suspicious asf. Like its clear that the older person was a deadbeat who prioritized going after young girls. The age gap relationships i saw that worked were ones where the older one (guy usually) dated women their age, but also happens to date younger if something clicks. Not necessarily go after younger specifically.

cause at 18 you're just barely out of high school and still figuring out what to do with your life, while the 28 yo is already way ahead. That's creepy

once you hit 25–30, you’re pretty settled in life and mature enough not to worry about age gaps anymore
