Hey everyone,

I was born with a grade 3 Diastema - a 5mm gap between my front teeth caused by a frenulum attachment pulling them apart. It's affected my confidence my whole life. Visible every time I speak, smile or appear in photos. I've held back from putting myself out there for years because of it.

The diastema alone probably holds me at a 3 or a 4. Face structure wise isn't too bad, I have seen great improvements through methods and have been told I have 7= potential, though until the gap is closed it is highly likely I will remain blackpilled. I highly doubt there is any safe and reliable methods that work for diastemas or frenulum's that work, though if you have any solutions or ideas please do let me know.

I had a consultation and was told I need
  1. Braces to close the gap
  2. Frenectomy to release the tissue so it doesn't pull open again
  3. Fixed permanent retainer so it stays closed for life

Unfortunately it's not severe enough for NHS funding it has to have an aesthetic score of a grade 6 to be concidered. Payment plans aren't an option right now due to my credit score and unstable income as well as being on universal credit and PIP (State welfare for the Americans) and it could be stopped at any time. I can't risk falling behind and going into debt. as that would lead to debt collection. high court enforcement, or even charges.

I've set up a GoFundMe to cover the treatment. Even £1 to £2 or dollars makes a real difference. Every single penny adds up and means so much. Please don't feel any pressure to donate. Sharing this around helps just as much.

I'd also really appreciate any advice or experiences from anyone who's dealt with something similar. Thanks so much for reading 💙

Yea I'm trying to raise money for the costs and treatme
I hope you’re able to get the treatment sorted out somehow
Thanks. highly unlikely tho, not unless the fundraiser hits it's target but I highly doubt many people will donate, not like it's life saving per say. If my modeling portfolio takes off or my music and social media does well and I get lucky to get rich then yea, otherwise will take many years of saving up and lonelyness. Let's be real no woman is gunna want be with me or even treat me as human with this gap, but I might be able to temporarily close it with composite bonding, a few months of saving up and might last a year and do for now
