it’s not particularly that they’re exceptions, just you’re still looking in the wrong places. some schools that are in less wealthy neighborhoods tend to have more crime, as an example. the statistics tend to get more dramatic the worse the quality of life is in the area. if you are in one of those less fortunate places, i would stop looking there.

i just see the post similar to somebody writing something about a supermarket— they go to the same supermarket and get the same rotten fruit. eventually it’s a choice you make to keep going there and doing it over and over.
