So my friend gets a message, and out of nowhere, she just shouts in front of the whole class, “He’s got a crush on you!” Like, what the heck?! I’m just sitting there, minding my own business, and suddenly, everyone is staring at me. I’m just thinking, Why would you do that?!

I look over at him, and instead of trying to brush it off or laugh, he just straight-up says, “Yeah, I do.” No shame whatsoever.

At that point, the whole situation was so weird and awkward that I just couldn’t take it seriously. I couldn’t help it—I burst out laughing. It wasn’t even in a mean way, it was just so random and uncomfortable.

So, I grabbed my stuff, stood up, and walked out of the classroom like nothing happened.

All of this ends with either a bullet through your skull or mine, and I am more capable of making one outcome possible vs the other.
