fuck the song
In this thread, you're gonna learn how to lock in, how to stop your goy routine of scrolling social media, eating goyslop, gooning...
What is Dopamine Loading
In the simplest way, it's training your brain to find difficult tasks fun. Then rewarding your brain with high dopamine activities in the evening, after completing all your tasks.
You'll feel way way better when you get that dopamine hit from scrolling social media and eating a good snack when you know you have already completed the hard tasks, you can feel proud of yourself.
It may sound simple or easy to do, but most of us aren't implementing this.
Most of us wake up in the morning and the first thing we do is open our phone and watch TikTok or Instagram reels, and throughout the day we would get artificial dopamine constantly. It's like a drug to make us feel happy. (refer to image)
Using social media first thing in the morning gives us quick artificial dopamine, and when it's time to actually do productive tasks it feels like torture. Because of this heavy drop in dopamine from scrolling Insta (yayyy) to making your math homework (fuckkk) the math homework will seem like such a hard task that it will just make you want to scroll Insta again. You can probably see how this leads to procrastination.
Your daily routine should not consist of these artificial dopamine sources I’m going to list.
List of Artificial Dopamines we should avoid:
• Scrolling social media
• Sugar and Ultra Processed Foods
• Pornography
So how do we get rid of artificial dopamine and rewire our brain to get real dopamine?
Yes, that’s right! We’re gonna do Dopamine Loading
Cut all sources of artificial dopamine. WATER yes that’s it. But how exactly? Because it’s easier said than done.
Take bad habits and replace them with something else, something that is beneficial. Do this day by day. Slowly transition one by one, and convince your brain that you hate the bad ones. Stopping cold turkey is HARD.
Examples:
TikTok in the morning → Writing a dream journal
Playing video games → Gym
Eating sugary processed foods → Eating fruits
The most important thing is to stay aware of what you are doing. Always think if this thing is beneficial, and always convince your brain that watching TikTok is BAD and doing dream journals is GOOD.
In the beginning, find a source of motivation. For me, the idea of proving my teachers wrong (they think I'm a lazy bum) is enough to motivate me to go beyond what they ask of you, to truly excel at what you do.
We'll help you start out. Tomorrow morning, don't pick up your phone and scroll .com or tiktok or insta or whatever. Wake up, get to the kitchen, and make an actual good meal. scrambled eggs, fruit salad, some type of meat... Then go about your usual day. The next day, do the same thing, but add another thing onto it, like studying for half an hour. That half hour becomes an hour and so on...
Tomorrow you will start the change
Good luck my brahs
