I have t1 diabetes and it's difficult for me to lose belly fat or tone up, I'm 61kg (posting because I would like to be more healthy) but sometimes my sugar level gets low and I eat a lot of sugar which means my levels go up to about 29.5mmol (if you don't know, it's meant to be between 5-9) so I would welcome any advice

Ozempic was originally for T2 diabetes, I am insulin dependent meaning that it doesn’t matter about my weight, I will have to take injections my whole life which is okay, it’s not the end of the world

Sure

Frequency: Each muscle in your body should be stimulated every 48 hours. Any more than that and the process of atrophy begins. Try to stimulate them more than twice a week.

Volume: sets should not be more than 2. And reps should not be less than 3 nor more than 8.

Warm-up: 1 set of 8 reps with 50% of your workload, the next with 70% and 6 reps, and you can choose to do one more with 90% of that with 3 reps

Your warm-up load should be based on your valid sets.

I recommend you use enough weight to fail with 5 reps. Use it until you reach 8 reps and continue the cycle, so you only do 1 valid set per exercise.

When resting, I recommend you follow your heart rate, if it slows down you have already rested enough (probably between 3-5 minutes)

Choose stable exercises. Avoid compound exercises.

And dont normalize muscle pain after 1-2 weeks of training! Always focus on gaining 500g-2kg with every workout.
I also think this way u can create your own workout, just avoid exercises that involve the same movement! It doesnt make sense to do two pushing exercises in a chest workout.

Thanks for the advice as it’s helpful and I want to go to the gym more, I think I just have to watch out for when my sugars go lower than 5

do u not pin insulin?
I do yes I have fast acting one called Trurapi which I take and also a long acting one every 12 hours
Bump in case anyone can relate

If your only goal is to lose fat just walk 10k+ steps/day, working out isnt truly a good weight loss method since most calories are earned back due to your body being put in overdrive eating after working out ++ it doesnt lose as many as you think it should.

Focus on fat loss with walking, gym is only really for toning / muscle. You can't target certain spots to lose fat, you have to keep losing and losing fat until you get where you want

By finding an ideal caloric deficit (high in proteins and complex carbs) and increasing your daily steps so 5k steps (+ the one you do daily) per day seems to be a realistic goal.

For the gym part, since you're a girl, most of them will focus on lower body & posterior chain weightlifting sessions to increase their physical appeal. Quads, Hamstrings, glutes, lower back, lats, trapezius etc train them with compound movements and become stronger on it overtime.

For the diabetes/sugar question, you can try a supplement called Waxy Maize, it's a carb you can dilute in your bottle water, it will avoids you to eat slop.
