am I crazy for drinking a lot of milk

Raw milk and raw milk kefir are ideal because it's basically water packed with macro (proteins, fats) and micronutrients so a better hydration.

BUT if you don't have the gut microbiome to fully digest it (especially lactose) then building up tolerance or finding other alternatived is needed.

I drink pasteurized whole milk. ~ 2/3 a gallon per day since forever how bad is that really?

Does it hurt your tummy or gives you diarhea ? If no, then you can continue
