It's not dependent solely on activity within the month or anything.

He's a good representation of the looksmaxxing section; displays interest in the subjects he discusses, curiosity to learn and share information, open to discussions even if it turns out he may be wrong, seems to actually enjoy the site, and so on.

He has consistently used the site, consistently contributed. So it's why he most likely won for August. He also got the most votes, obviously, which is fairly subjective at the end of the day.
