I rather be straight up being rejected because she has a boyfriend she genuinely loves and consider as her top one & only option than entertaining a woman who had a bf but didn't tell me because she liked the attention, the validation etc

Of course there are exceptions like they lie to reject you politely but tbh it's their loss if they can't see the potential you have as a man
