Love for ur own offspring is instinctual and ppl don’t like raising other ppls offspring
If u think about it at the end of the day the biological purpose in life is to spread ur genes that’s what every mammal has ingrained into it and also why you have to trick animals into thinking something is their offspring for them to raise it
Ofc ur stepparents can like u but they will never like u like a biological parent would ppl like to think humans are different to other mammals but at the end of the day it’s the same
