Like you could call someone whose in their worst state cute because they look funny but you'd still mean cute

I think it's more a way to express mild disinterest, like you'd say "yeah they're cute but I wouldn't date them", not "yeah they're hot but I wouldn't date them." Being called cute is like a way of letting you down gently because you can be cute and ugly tbh

the first part wssnt flexing, the 2nd part just proves my point they were trying not to call me ugly before
i improved my looks and don’t get called cute anymore as much
