Bloodwork after animal based diet

What are the exact foods you consumed?
Any supps or medications along with it?
Just normal Asian diet but optimized to be meat heavy

Main meats where steamed chicken, fish, occasionally lamb shoulder or beef

Main carb source was rice or flatbread

I eat zero fruits ( I avoid fructose like the plague )

Lots of dairy, especially cheese and yoghurt

Supplements : I was taking none at the time, Now I am taking a few.

Zero medication

rice and flatbread are solid grain carbs tbh

whats the reasoning behind this? i think fruits are fine as long as they are low glycemic

Our bodies don't digest fructose as well glucose.

Our bodies have to send it to the liver first to convert it to glucose

It's also been shown in studies to cause more glycation damage vs glucose and some other unwanted effects.

That being said, you don't have to avoid then but I just rather snack on other things. Personal preference.

I will never drink juice though

i'll look into it further, GODtis recommends it after all
Theres still the factor of other carbs containing toxins and anti nutrients
Rice seems to be fairly non invasive from my research, theres just arsenic in it from the harvesting process (might need to fact check this)
Also, i guess this is an assumption but after studying stuff further its not really black and white like some make it seems, glycation damage isnt the only factor
Ill look into it when i get my computer and respond back tomorrow
Good to keep open minded discussion though

after doing some research i still think fruits are superior to the sources that are primarily glucose (I'm aware fruits are glucose and fructose)

its generally excess fructose causing issues aka unnatural amounts

also I'm aware the liver doesn't process it as well, but the glycation damage can be avoided by not consuming fruits and other animal based foods in similar time frames
I agree with you on the juice part
its just the other options to obtain carbohydrates are horrendous, the anti nutrient factors and such

How was ur test? I also follow a mostly animal based diet but my cholesterol was high. My doc seems to be based and said it wasn’t an issue though jfl:rainbowpls:
lol I got cucked by my -stein jewish doctor and my mom wanted to go to dietitian and do a med diet bc of my 170 LDL chole
