I've calculated my body fat before, it gave me around 24%. But I downloaded Cronometer and it told me that I'm around 27% body fat according to my age, weight and height 😔. I asked DeepSeek, and it told me that I'm 25.4% bf. What the fuck should I believe in?

I'm 183cm (6ft), 86kg (189lb) and 16, 17 by the end of this year.

I assume I should be around 24-25%, or 25.4% more specifically if I plug in all the results to calculate the avg.

Solution
Every online calculator that asks you for your height, weight and age uses the BMI (body mass index) to estimate your bfp (body fat percentage). However the bmi was created to estimate the weight distribution over a large population, which makes it extremely inaccurate for your case.
If you have money: adipometer or blood test
If you don't have money: Use online pictures for reference. You probably already saw the chart for every bfp with reference pictures.
Either way your current bfp shouldn't be your concern, it's just a temporary number. Instead: Set yourself a goal, where you want to be at in a couple years. If you need further information on that, just pm me, I'll help you out.

i wouldn’t trust online calculators, the best method is the adipometer, i believe. and it has to be done by a professional

I recall you posting pics and you dont look even close to being overweight.
Skinny fat is real and body fat calculators can sometimes bug out and give a really high or low number since they can't calculate every part of someone's lifestyle and biochemistry
