I still don't know the order of the months

And I can't remember any dates of events whatsoever. Christmas, birthdays, Valentine's etc. Can't do any of 'em except for my own birthday and I really do try but it never sticks in my head.

I also don't know the days of each of the months and stuff but I think that's a little more common

I don't have any learning difficulties or illnesses or whatever, I am just incredibly subpar in regards to processing dates

My hw for tonight

I used to not know what month it was if someone said "in X month," or I couldn't link it to a number, which I preferred. But I knew the list of months from memory so I'd have to start from January and iterate until I got to X, and I would "know" what month they meant.

This was about 3 years ago. One day I just decided to learn it, took like 5min. I have no clue why I never decided to learn the number-to-month conversion in the first place.

you wouldn't have this problem if you knew
1. how to count to 10 in latin and
2. about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martius_(month)
I remember being extremely annoyed when I got into first grade because our math textbooks did show us these prefixes and how they correlate to the way we name our current polygons

They didn't match with the months and so I started writing 'em as numbers strictly VS the usual "1st of January 2000"

Nowadays I'm getting back into writing the full words in my notebooks because I can't get the 2 "/" to be of reasonably same length and rotation

Life is a struggle

the only/most "problematic" ones to remember are september to december, and it's just septem, octo, novem, decem (7, 8, 9, 10) in latin. add the info from the link i posted above to the mix and you got it all covered
