hi, i've noticed that the deeper i get into looks-related spaces, the harder it becomes to see myself objectively

some days i think i look fine. other days i take one bad photo, see myself in a weird mirror angle, or compare myself to someone online and suddenly i feel like every feature on my face is flawed

the worst part is that even after improving my appearance, the goalposts seem to move. i fix one insecurity and then my brain immediately finds another thing to obsess over

what has helped you guys separate actual flaws from dysmorphia? how do you know when you're genuinely improving yourself vs just feeding an unhealthy obsession?

interested in hearing other people's experiences because i feel like a lot more people struggle with this than they admit

What dysmorphia like body or facial? Specifically

1. youre a foid so you dont have to worry about it
2. comparing yourself with others is retarded, we are all diferent from each other
3. you're improving yourself when you feel satisfied with the results instead of wanting more and more endlessly

thanks, i guess

actually both
I mean with face you just don’t compare yourself to others and really don’t care about what others think because if they judge they are lesser. Body is different I mean I don’t have body dysmorphia

real. face acceptance is peace.
body dysmorphia is the real killer tho, glad you don't deal with it
