I think theres one black girl but we need a black male

and what do you mean by token exactly?
Often referred to in some friend groups or spaces, replace friend with mod in this case
"A token friend is a member of a minority group who is treated as an outlier in a group of friends that is predominantly made up of the majority group. The term is often used to describe someone who is included in a group to give the impression of diversity or inclusiveness, but is not truly integrated"

My personality is not weak and neither is my presence. Therefore I would not be a "token mod". If anything, the only thing that would label our mods as a group is the term Staff. There is nothing group related about the staff, as they are all acting individually without group consensus. So I wouldn't need help being "integrated" either, as there is no "group" to be integrated with.

The selection of moderators is based on activity, contributions to the community, knowledge of forum utilities, and the trust and respect they’ve earned over time. Saying, 'FR I'm looking for some diversity here!! Not ONE of the staff members are black! I want my equal representation!!!!' is a weak argument because the role isn’t about representing demographics; it’s about meeting the qualifications and responsibilities required for the position.

For example, despite his activity, Neymar, who could also be seen as a diverse candidate, would not be a good fit for the role. He has racked up many warnings in a shorter time on the forum than other moderators, showing that simply ticking the box for diversity does not make someone a suitable candidate.

Compared to current and past moderators, your activity and contributions are relatively low, and you haven’t yet demonstrated the experience, rapport, or consistency necessary for the role. Diversity is valuable, but it doesn’t override the need for proven qualifications and good standing within the community.

The moderation team is, in fact, an integrated group. All moderators know each other, have been well-received on the forum, and work collaboratively to maintain the community.

But for a site where people are being rated, I'm very confident that black people don't want to be addressed by white people who probably have no idea what a black person does to even get ready in the morning. Or how skin and hair care is different. Also, I've been on and off since 2023, so it's not like I have no idea what's going on around here. Other than that, what am I lacking?

Knowing what black people should do regarding looksmaxxing is completely unrelated to being a mod. At the end of the day, it’s up to the admin, and you’re just not well known enough on the forum or by the admin to be considered. Being on and off since 2023 doesn’t mean much when you haven’t been consistently active or built enough trust to be a good fit.
+ these arent the original arguments you were claiming
