Going to an orthodontic, they're meant to fix your bite including jaw issues that effect your bite, but a lot of orthodontics realized that people only want braces for cosmetic reasons and so in many cases they don't even try fixing the bite anymore they just slap the braces on you and call it a day. It's kind of annoying as fuck not going to lie.
