Discussion Do people see you as you see yourself in the mirror?

I've had this question on my mind for quite a while now, I look amazing in the mirror but I'm not sure if people see me like I look in the mirror, I've tried researching it and I got multiple hypothesis but I wanna settle it once and for all

idk i feel the opposite, people will say things abt certain features n say theyre like smth ppl pay for but i dont see it
As for the mirror thing, ur brain likes familiar things, the more familiar the more ur brain likes it, hence why u like looking at urself in the mirror, cos u are the most familiar face to u yk

dw same, throws me off even more as i have a split dye and very asymmetrical features (a big freckle under my right eye as well as one dimple? most ppl have two idk why i only have one)

I have a massive sphenoid assynetry and masseter assymetry, considering surgery

Inverted filter makes me look subhuman

Theres no such thing as looking better or worse inverted. We dont read faces left to right so it doesnt make a difference if your asymmetry is one way or the other. The reason nobody likes the inverted filter is because we are used to seeing ourselves in the mirror, so it looks extremely weird when we see ourselves inverted.
