black hat python is solid but kinda assumes ur not a complete potato

if u want baby steps:
the webapplication hacker's handbook = goated
violent python = like black hat python but with an edge

also just run kali linux and break ur own shit till the feds knock

Yeah, it's probably best just to mess around on my Kali VM.

Kinda surprised you want it in book form.
Been a while, but Hackthebox and tryhackme were very good from what I remember.

Yeah, THM is fucking great. I wasn't so big on HTB.
I've always learnt well when it's in book form, not sure why.
