Using bimatoprost would be better
(You should also consider the side effects)

No it nukes the eyes area by increasing dark spots and the decrease the "fat" around the eyes area, alongside drying the due to it's hydrocloric acid

As in like does the length change (not just density or thickness) or is it just wet dream tales from the copeland?
Castor oil needs to be diluted with PG/Ethanol to even be absorbed and synthetised by the hair roots (especially the P2 molecule from castor oil), so you should avoid it

The only safe topical for around the eyes/eyelashes is Minoxidil BUT in Glycerin. Can be found on Minoxidilmax website (called PG free)

While bimatoprost is the only substance proven by the FDA to biologically lengthen eyelashes, the risks you mentioned, such as fat tissue loss and darkening, place this product in the medical risk category rather than a cosmetic choice. I agree with you on this point

No health authority or ophthalmologist in the world considers applying minoxidil to the base of the eyelashes safe. Furthermore, recommending alcohol to dilute castor oil is an invitation to serious chemical irritation of the eyelids

Hence why i said castor oil diluted should not be used for eyelashes.

On other parts of the body, ethanol/PG based products are safe if you apply a moisturizing agent to prevent skin dryness and water loss.

Minoxidil in glycerin base seems to be the safest while most efficient option rn for eyelashes growth, other serums has just anecdotal evidences and aren't backed up by science for any actual noticeable hair growth

Using ethanol to dilute castor oil intentionally disrupts the delicate skin barrier around the eyes. Instead of enhancing the absorption of the active ingredient, this method leaves the area vulnerable to chemical irritation and dryness

If you need to dilute a substance with alcohol before applying it to your eyes, that substance is not suitable for the eyes. Instead of irritating the cornea with alcohol or using medications with systemic side effects like minoxidil to lengthen eyelashes, it is scientifically far more consistent and safer to advocate for biologically compatible, ophthalmologically tested peptide technologies with minimized irritation risk

Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 and Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 are classified as active cosmetic ingredients and have the highest safety profiles. Instead of manipulating eyelashes with medication these peptides are the safest way to biologically strengthen them and keep them from falling out for longer
