Does mewing work after puberty

I am not sure if mewing works after my growth plates have closed, as I am done with puberty currently.
Was wondering if anyone has gone through a similar process?

Can do some work showing less hyoid but it won't do much
 
How would someone get forward growth on the mandible for a better jawline?
