I’m trying to make the most of it, being my last week in school, but it’s tough since I lost friends overnight. We still talk and sit with each other but you could easily tell it’s just to end the year peacefully. It’s bringing my mood down really badly 😔
I still have two closest friends with me, but I still feel so off about it lol. Basically wasted my childhood - late teens on people that weren’t worth it. Whatever though, I made some new purchases today!!
I got my nails done, got coffee, and bought a new book 🥰

I feel like that’s a universal experience. I still only talk to 10 guys now when I used to know the entire year group. You’ll meet new people soon. That’s life

beautiful nails! i've been there with friends, it brings a different type of loneliness to know you're replaceable. but you have solace in knowing you have yourself! have fun with the book
 
Very normal, to lose friends when you leave school. When you first graduate high school, a lot of teens feel nervous because they spent their entire lives in school, and don't know how to make friendships outside of school (which makes sense). Friendships from here on out may be more meaningful and intentional, as it won't always be solely off of people you're exposed to constantly.

also don't worry - college gets much better, although i have some fake friends i have some ride or dies that i didnt have in high school
