been thinking about getting ear piercings for a while now to increase my appeal in general, not to a specific niche

I asked some of my female friends in school and they told me i would look better with them, but I'm 99% they were just saying that shit to be nice and was probably laughing in their heads, because when I asked my male friends I got flamed as fuck and got LGBTQ accusations

is this a turn off or does it make a man look better. or is it outdated
