I'm scared but I'm really hoping I'll have a lot of fun there
first day is always the longest
but soon 9-5 will be passing by in a flash

What are you working?

I don't mind, it's in my bio. I am 18. why?
I was in a similar predicament

i worked at a similar place before i realized i could just lie in the interview and now i make almost 3x what i did before

i normally work 58-60 weekly average but its okay cuz almost 20 of them are just driving to places

like today i literally drove 2 hours away and drove two hours back and i only worked from 8am to 3pm

literally the whole day was driving

some days i drive between multiple job sites too

oh that sounds nice, I love driving!!

its not terrible

i like it

lying genuinely gets you so far its over if you dont at least lie a little bit
I lie when necessary but I don't lie pathologically. I understand it's like a fact of life at times

9 am to 9 pm 6 days a week
working schedule the originated in china and is now popular at some tech firms in the us
mine are really varied since i cant leave until the work is done

like today i bearly worked like 7 hours including 4 hours i spent driving

somedays i wont be able to fix the shit im working on and ill spend 14-16 hours on a jobsite

somedays i get called out on whats considered “breakdown hours” and its basically anytime after 6pm so i also get hours there

i work with a guy that does installs and he literally works 70-80 hour weeks i dont know how he isnt dead

i do maintenance

he works from 7am to 10pm some days

breakdown is basically when something breaks down suddenly and they need it fixed asap

my workplace is opposite
they want you to work 9-5 every day and get mad if you put on extra hours (even though we aren't paid hourly)

wow why do they do that? if youre salaried they normally squeeze the work out of you
