Hey everyone! Thank you so much for welcoming me to the community. I’m here because I want to become the best version of myself I can possibly become.

What are the first steps I need to take in order to begin looksmaxxing in the most effective way possible? Are there any roadmaps to follow and if so what is the best roadmap to follow? Any and all advice is much appreciated. Thank you so much!

If you are overweight, the single most important thing you can do is lose weight.

That’s great advice, thank you! Is there

That’s great advice, thank you so much! What is the ideal BMI I should strive for?
Dont worry so much about BMI, but rather bodyfat %, as a male whos looking to looksmaxx you want to be ideally below 15%, weight training is probably the second most important thing. If you can afford it, get your bf% assessed professionally.

Ahh, I see. I’ll be doing this, thank you once again!

Losing weight is often like 85% of looksmaxxing, strength training is also important, then usually hair, facial hair, tanning, acne treatment, obviously if you have severe facial deformities or really bad features that need surgery this should be a top prioroity with losing weight.

I’ve seen people accomplish amazing results within the span of a year. If I want to accomplish these same results within that same timeframe, ideally how much time a day should I spend looksmaxxing? Thank you again for all the excellent advice!

I would start a good diet with a focus on reducing daily calories, and also have an allotted amount of time you want to do cardio for most everyday, like an hour of walking everyday, more is usually better if you're trying to lose weight, also strength training is important, a good amount of strength training for a beginner is full body 3 times a week, should be in order of importance: diet>strength training>cardio, if you want to emphasize cardio over weight training its probably fine though. If you slack on anything dont slack on your diet, slacking on training and cardio is "fine" as long as you're still dieting if your ultimate goal is losing weight. I dont know how much you know about dieting or training but there should be good guides on it online or even on this site, I really dont want to write out a guide here.

It’s okay, I’m sorry for asking so many questions! Thank you so much for all of your help, I’ll most definitely be taking all of this to heart.

Dont be sorry, we get lots of newcomers new to looksmaxxing, if you're severely overweight losing a lot of weight can seem like an insurmountable task to some, even losing 5 lbs a month is decent progress unless you're like 500 or 600 lbs, someone who wants to lose like 50 lbs a loss of 5 lbs a month is great and can be accomplished through diet alone.

Welcome to the forums. The questions in the OP are a bit vague; looksmaxxing is not a checklist but rather personal individual goals that end up to a desired result. What are you wanting to change about yourself?

You can always ask your questions in the Looksmaxxing Questions category as well.

Thank you for the welcome! And I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to ask anything vague I was more so just trying to get a good general idea of looksmaxxing in general. But I’ve been reading a lot since my time here and so far have gotten into eyelashmaxxing, aegyo salmaxxing, leanmaxxing, and softmaxxing.

I would say that my main goal is to achieve and maintain the maximum level of objective attractiveness I can possibly attain in every aspect without the use of surgery or anything like that. Thank you so much for your time!
