Discussion Foids being welcome in the looksmaxing scene is contradictory

So for the sake of this argument I'm assuming that the majority of ppl in the community would regard appearance as a kind of social class, where by improving it your life will improve. Obviously any social class is relative, if your the richest you'll be the highest ranked no matter how much money you have, and also following this reasoning, Foids are described as a high social class in terms of sexual value.

So what is looksmaxing trying to do.. improve your class in order to improve your qol, so to use the analogy of money, by welcoming foids into this community, it's the same as being a lower class citizen and sharing your advice and working with billionaires by helping foids through advice or even kindness your only increasing the social gap and that's the exact opposite of what improving your looks is trying to achieve.

The other issue is that it invites a culture of ppl who prey on less attractive guys to get more attention when the top percentile people they want don't want them back, this is again kinda grim as it reinforces the issue and can lead to the mistreatment of said unnatractive people. Overall my thesis is that it seems really unthoughtthrough to be welcoming them and helping them w improving their appearance but I'm interested in other ppls opinions on it

The fact is almost everyone on this forum and on org are fucking fakecels whose "shitty lives" are of their own doing. They're likely average looking, average class, good amount of friends, etc.

1St part, I described the community as a group of people aiming to improve their class, so it stands to reason that you'd want to see the success of said group, idk if that's counterintuitive. The goal of ascending is to reach the top and like I saod the top is based off the ppl at the top, but then again if you look at the main influencers I'm fairly sure they all kinda hate each other as they wanna be viewed as the best looking so ig at the top they aren't safe either.

The second part is more just an issue with who I'm saying this too, I'm assuming that ppl don't wanna read a shitty forum for hours unless they actually have a need for it but apparently I'm wrong about that

I'm not tryna say that we can stop them improving their looks, I'm more saying that it's a bit ironic that the looksmaxing community (or revolutionarys to use the analogy) is helping them is all. Im taking looksmaxing to mean the male dominated side of self-care in this case so more the community than the action itself

How I look at it is that everyone working on themselves and trying to improve is a good thing. Leveling up in general is a positive. If you boil the term ‘looksmaxxing’ to the most simple terms and remove everything else, then it’s just maximizing your physical appearance, which is applicable to everyone. It can be argued in that sense that women are the “original” looksmaxxers since the beauty industry is female dominated and very big and plastic surgery is more common and accepted for women. A part of that is men kinda have other alternatives to get a relationship by having money, personality, status, height, etc while women often only have their beauty as the determining factor.

I’d also just ask myself this question- would you not want an attractive girlfriend? Everyone WANTS a htb-stacy. Improvement and achievement is a natural desire. Increasing the overall number of attractive people is a net positive, and by improving herself she’ll eventually get to be with someone who will appreciate it. Kinda reminds me of that equity vs. equality meme of raising everyone up

I think I didn't explain properly what the point I'm trying to make is, I'm taking looksmaxing to mean the extremist form of self improvement, imagining a spectrum, looksmaxing would be on the far end and then more conventional methods would be more normal. If you take it to mean simply the improving of looks then my analogy fails as there's no reason for anyone in a social higherarchy not to be justified in wanting to improve their position. My point isn't that it's wrong for the higher ppl to want to improve, my point is just that it seems somewhat contradictory to be part of a radical class improvement group while also welcoming and even sometimes worshipping the higher class, does this kinda make sense
