But that is the test.
Following God doesn't necessarily mean you will lose in the world but you def wont get as much as opposed to if you were obsessed with worldy stuff. You will get mogged. you may get cucked (maybe). You may not get your oneitis. Maybe you could if you optimized and was obsessed. But will you?
That is the sacrifice. in the end you must choose and thats the brutal part. But its so worth it.

2- LACK VS LIFE
Looksmaxxing and bp aren't bad, you still can improve you just can't make them idols.
Many of you (all of you actually) operate from a scarcity mindset. Lack vs life. Always lacking.
Like a desert vs oasis inside you.
But no matter how much water you put into a desert, you can't outdry it. It will always dry up what you put in.
But with an oasis inside you (feeling whole and secure in yourself and Jesus) life comes FROM you.
Jesus says:
John 7:38: Jesus promises that whoever believes in him will have "rivers of living water" flowing from within them.
Psalm 23:2-3: Portrays God leading believers to "restful waters" and restoring their soul, often referred to as an oasis of peace.
Isaiah 58:11: Describes the Lord guiding you, satisfying your needs in a sun-scorched land, and making you like a "well-watered garden"
Life is possible friends.
