i think its because nowadays beauty standards just favor perfect even toned skin, or maybe they got teased for it when they were younger thats how many insecurities develop

Because everybody wishes to be different and change things about themselves.

But personally, I don't see how freckles would worsen appearance unless it's really in abundance
Soo that would make it like either neutral or upgrade↑↑ depending on who's judging
