Getting rid of DUI Stare

thought more about it:

- clean or swap sheets/pillowcases more regularly. wash your hands more than normal. this is just general advice but often helps more than youd think, assuming redness is caused by allergies.

-artificial tears. if using regularly and for extended periods, avoid those with preservatives.

- stop rubbing your eyes. i deadass have to fight demons to stop doing it personally.

- applying cool soft cloths to your closed eyelids. cold water to your face and eyelids directly can reduce some puffiness and redness.

- if it’s caused by an infection and not allergies, no eye drops (unless prescribed by a doctor) of any kind, try to avoid bright screens too close to your face, wash your eyelids gently with cool water (warm water can further irritate them), trying to avoid excessive tears (when infected, ur eyes will feel like theyre on fire unless you immediately wipe the tears) but try to avoid using your hands, and sleeping on your back. if you sleep on your side and your face is all up in your pillows, depending on severity of the infection, can cause goo to dry and scratch your eyes and eyelids.
