No, its pretty simple and its 3 steps no surgery involved my estimate the results will be visible in 3 to 6 months

Belt Pulling = cope overall you would need more time and more force in generally in order to move the maxilla if any movement you get would only be temornay then you would also need to like wise expand the pallet. You would also have to deal with the suturces being rigid depending on your age overall belt Pulling and thumbpulling = massive cope due to force as well as age factors.
