was talking to a coworker and he made a comment about how his girlfriend has no friends and it makes her unbearable. i thought to myself a bit and i was like wow i've never met a guy with no friends but i guess it'd suck to date someone whose only friend is me. but i thought a little harder. how come i've never met a guy with no friends? how do you guys have 9 gajillion extraneous buddies?

I'd assume if they had no friends they'd resort to doing random shit like spamming anime gifs on forums

ive noticed this, my most "long term" friend that i still go out with to date is from like middle school. meanwhile a lot of my guy friends just casually drop "oh yeah ive known this guy since i was six". wonder if there's a reason for this
