Experience Having a pet could save my life but I'm broke and I can't even take care of myself

There's no way I could handle being in charge of a living thing. I'm way too lazy and irresponsible and I'd hate for it to have to deal with my bs. But watching and being with animals is one of the few things that makes me feel genuinely at peace and maybe even grateful to be alive.

Having a pet is overrated, it is an economic burden and is based solely on emotional cravings of having company.
