Having a set of arbitrary physical requirements that dictate whether you'd date someone is a robotic npc trait

to make a better argument you could have just said a "type" is a fetish and that's why most men would choose someone of a race even if there is a better looking person but they don't match his "type"

but then again having a type "evolutionarily" is about being able to pick out which mate is best fit to carry/ give you kids. Before today's civilization, it was probably way more necessary to have a type than it is now
