help w fixing EXTREMELY recessed chin

i used to be a mouthbreather bc id get sick a lot and my chin actually looks less recessed when i open my mouth which is why i asked bc it seems like theres still a chance
 
do an mse its like 50 bucks and its not cope it actuallly will work wonders
will mse help w my chin though? ik it brings forward my maxilla but my main issue is that my chin bone is fucked up or smth

it does MSE can indirectly help with a receding chin by widening the upper jaw, which can create a better facial profile and improved balance between the upper and lower jaws. This is because a narrow upper jaw is often associated with a "weak chin" so it will help it by a bit but for more drastic talk to your orthodnist
 
definitely contact a maxillofacial surgeon its your whole mandible that's recessed DO NOT get a chin implant it'll be ugly asl. Get lower jaw surgery with a genioplasty, might be covered by insurance as well if you have them

tysm! Yes im between genioplasty and double jaw surgery rn for the moment im 18
im likely not ever gonna get implants or fillers of any sort bc im scared theyll move around and i feel like those js look unnatural
