Studies online show that higher iq people tend to overanalyze and think more deeply. They are more aware of systematic problems and social flaws, and they don’t easily accept things at face value, but instead question everything. They don’t believe in comforting illusions, and while ignorance can provide less inteligent ppl emotional protection, having a high iq often takes thats away. This difference can make it harder to for high iq ppl to fit in and socialize with others. They are less likely to blindly follow traditions, religion, and social norms, which seperates them from normal ppl. This constant questioning can cause anxiety, overthinking, and a feeling of disconnection. this difference in thinking can lead to isolation and depression , bc it becomes harder to relate to people who don’t think the same way or don’t question things as deeply.

so what do you guys think? do u agree with this?

I don't think most users on this forum can relate

whats ur stance on this?
I mean it has been proven for a while that being higher IQ = higher risks of mental problems. Although we should make explicit the nuance that IQ is highly criticized by multiple specialists for numerous reasons.

would u rather be average iq and enjoy life and not question social norms, basically live in ignorance, or be high iq and constantly analyze everything and, question everything.

Changing my iq would be essentially killing my current self, the traits you described is literally who we are so I've gotta accept the anxiety and live with it
