If you want an example of just how badly negative self talk can affect you

Refer to Heath Ledger in his preparation for his role as Joker...

Ledger employed method acting for this role, essentially becoming the joker off set, staying in character

He secluded himself in a hotel room for 6 weeks, immersing himself in the Jokers mindset, using a diary to explore the Joker's psyche.

Which unfortunately led to significant psychological strain...

While Ledger delivered one of the best performances of our time, his commitment to the role blurred the lines between actor and character.

Sadly, later dying of a drug overdose (RIP)

It’s debated how much this role directly affected his well being, but it’s clear it left a heavy psychological impact on him…

A reminder that your life is directly dictated by your thoughts

If this teaches us anything it’s that the inverse of this tragedy is also possible….

Creating an upward spiral with sheer delusional optimism

Self police your thoughts

No blackpilling, ever.

"Fake it until you make it... very true. control thoughts and words. Assume the best at all times!"

Brutal. Hope none of you guys ever let yourselves go that far.

How do you turn around negative thoughts though? Everything i try to have a positive mindset towards myself I can feel the fakeness
you can challenge the negative thoughts by using small, neutral truths rather than forcing positivity. for example, “i’m making progress, even if it feels slow,” or “i’ve made choices today that support my goals.” your mindset will gradually change overtime.

Neutral truths that makes so much sense. Ur a genius tysm

Retarded thread n***a, im not tryna be the Joker secludimg myself in total isolation for one and a half months. If you ascend you will know through positive reinforcement and thus naturally start speaking to yourself better

the times when I was lowest in energy coincided with a constant loop of negative thinking

it is difficult to get out of it but it is important to understand that they have a strong influence on our mood.

I never believed in 'positive thinking', typical of self-help, but now I'm trying to try to have an almost naive positivism.

to see if that helps me to have different results.

The happiest people and many of the most successful people especially in sports, act very delusional. They hype themselves up to more than what they are. Better than they actually are. It's the same way in mood really. Negative and positive thinking have the same affect.

I remember when he died. I was playing that Rockstar game Bully when mother came in to tell me about it.

I said, "Oh"

doesn't make a difference
hoping=coping
just accept the reality and if its too harsh just rope
I mean kinda, people are way too biased or deluded in their own parts. Even Chads like Stepanov can go off the deep end due to mental illness, etc. Mental Health can be a healthy way to cope and most people in their own right shouldnt rope yet. And also It's unfair for 5's and 6's to be believing that they're subhuman via forum trolling and for them to rope for such a silly reason. Yes they probably deserve it (natural selection) but It's hard for people to even accept reality and create a pragmatic approach to life.

just be neutral by default and base your opinions on facts not opinions of others
