Some parts of this story are extremely cringe, just bear with me.
I was working part-time at this one place, selling NPCs their toasters on a Sunday afternoon. Nobody really came in on Sundays so I would just pull out my phone to pass time. Manager was on my ass sometimes, but I didn’t give AF.
One day, I saw a new girl at the front desk. Our eyes lock, full on pause moment, like some movie or something.
New girl was like 5’4 mtb and I was peak leanmaxxed (around 10% bodyfat or lower). I’m a 6ft Nigerian, gymcelled and always had a low body fat %. She was prob mirin’ my health indicators. So we start talking, and it turns out she’s Turkish.
We end up talking about movies and out of nowhere she brings up 365 Days. If you don’t know, it's basically softcore porn.
I was like “Yeah, I’ve heard about it. Why?" She just giggles.
Later some female coworker pulls me to the side and tells me that “She’s totally into you”.
But my high-inhib ass was like “Idk about that”.
I was talking to another girl at the time too, (5’5 Dutch mtb) so I left it at that. Eventually we both lost interest.
At the time, I thought talking was enough, didn’t think of making any plans, no escalations. Typical rookie high-inhib mistake.
Girls would quickly lose interest and think I was never into them.
Fast forward to my birthday party. My mates hyped it up for weeks, we were planning to have a rlly good ratio (me + 2 mates vs five girls, 3 were htb). The mtb I was talking to couldn’t come (cucked by vacation :feelsree
, but there were still like 4 other girls willing to come over. We were pregaming, and my mates surprised me with a jersey from my fav club. He tells me how they were all in this GC to buy the present together. (Dutch thing)
So I swapped shirts on the spot. I was shirtless for a second and I noticed how the girls stopped talking and were just mirin’ at me for a second.
Party went on, we played card drinking games, beer pong, then we went straight to dancing. I noticed a blonde htb girl started acting friendlier so I started to get close to this one girl, touching, dancing with her, but again I was too high inhib to even go for a kiss or anything.
Pathetic.
After the party, the htb girl got way friendlier in class. Shoulder taps, random convos, even slid into my DMs asking abt gym stuff. Mind you see was one of the popular girls in school. She joined my gym, and one time, I ignored her. She called me out TWICE, asking WHY. I was really dumb and tried to play it off so I just said:
“I didn't see you.”
I literally walked past her like I was Ryan Gosling or something.

If I wasn’t so stupid back then I could have just set up a date or linked up with her or something.
I was always the quiet kid in school that no one really talked to. And I just had this random glow up in my late teens.
I didn’t know how to act.
This wasn’t the only girl I was talking to, I had two others (5’5 MTB Dutch girl from before and a 5’2 HTB Dutch-Aussie).

I ended up fumbling them both.. They got mad at me being so hesitant to ask them out and they lost interest eventually. I didn’t realize they were into me, I thought I didn’t deserve them..
No joke, this stuff keeps me up at night sometimes. I never thought about setting up dates, or losing my virginity back then, just thought talking to them was enough.
Missed out on A LOT. Even my mates were starting to think something was wrong with me.
If only I had found this site earlier..
But no more, I’m going to try and be better from now on. Still a virgin, but not for long. (hopefully)
