I feel like if I do anything, its not going to work or not be significant enough. I feel like i should just LDAR, but I also feel like I should work for something once in my life and maybe by luck I can be rewarded. I genuinely want change.

Work on your consistency and reward yourself with something for every effort you put ( A game of Fortnite after a gym session for exemple )

Discipline and experience is the teacher of progress and success. Humiliation is the key to change. Ask a girl out and see what happens. Get rejected enough times, and you'll be at the point where you must change

would help, but i think my problem is more about just not being convinced anything I do will work, like its not going to ascend me to not even MTN.

Start with something simple and go from there. But before building good habits, discover your bad ones, and rid of them.

Lifting will def help you get a better physique and help you lose body fat, just follow the basic softmaxxing tactics and you'll see progress after a few months

You don’t have to feel ready to change. You start while doubting and let small wins show you it’s worth it. Pick one visible thing to improve, like your skin, fitness, hair, or grooming. This creates a feedback loop that proves effort leads to results. The voice saying “it won’t matter” is fear pretending to be logic. Even small improvements can change how you carry yourself. Commit to 30 days of discipline: eat healthy, move every day, sleep well, and look intentional. You’re not chasing perfection; you’re building momentum. This is the turning point in your story: rot or evolve. Choose to evolve.

Anytime man. Your post really hit close to home. What I’ve learned is that you have to take things one step at a time. I struggle with this a lot as well, but it’s not the big picture that you’re chasing but the steps you take that get you there. Fall in love with the processes and learn that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as you don’t give up. I wish you the best.
