Sometimes I am out of my mind and handle my phone very casually.

Once you drop phone on floor, there is 30% chance that it's screen will get cracked. Then you need to change screen by spending more money.

It can also get blackout. To avoid expensive fixes, better to avoid dropping at all costs. Somehow phone falls from hand.

I was dropped my previous phone on floor. It went all out black. Screen got replaced but that lasted just 7 months.

Purchased a new phone which I am using for last 8 months. Never dropped on floor once since purchase. I am afraid to drop.

My previous phone lasted just 5 years 6 months.

ok listen to me and i mean REALLY listen

first of all, the mistake everyone makes is thinking a smartphone is just a phone, WRONG its a weak-minded, anxiety-ridden slab of glass that is CONSTANTLY testing boundaries. the moment you treat it like an equal, it starts acting up, slipping, sliding, etc

that’s why step one is (now listen to me really well) psychological dominance.

your phone listens to u and watches u
every morning, before you check notifications, you pick it up and you remind it who pays the bills. look it straight in the screen (even if it’s off) and say something like: “don’t get ideas today.” calm voice. disappointed, not angry. anger empowers it.

step two: verbal conditioning. throughout the day you must casually degrade it. not insults, more like subtle negging. “wow, you’re kinda heavy for something so fragile.” or “crazy how one fall would end you.” phones HATE being reminded of their mortality. it keeps them humble. a humbled phone grips reality better.

now here’s where people mess up: grip strength. everyone says “just hold it tighter.” no. that’s fear-based holding. your phone can sense desperation sweat. instead, you hold it like it’s LUCKY to be in your hand. loose but confident. like “i could drop you, but i won’t. today.” this confuses the phone’s internal gyroscope spiritually.

also you need to establish drop lore. tell it stories. “you know what happened to the last phone, right?” don’t elaborate. let its imagination do the work. phones are glass, but their fear is plastic.

another key technique is environmental intimidation. occasionally hover it over the floor. not threateningly. just casually. like an accident could happen but you’re bored. then pull it back. this reinforces that survival is a privilege, not a right.

people sleep on this, but pocket discipline matters. never gently place it in your pocket. you SLIDE it in. assertive. decisive. if you hesitate, it thinks you’re unsure and that’s when it jumps.

finally, if it ever does fall, you cannot react emotionally. do NOT gasp. do NOT rush. you look at it and say “unfortunate.” if it survives, it learns resilience through fear. if it breaks, that’s a lesson for the next one.

in conclusion phones don’t fall because of gravity. they fall because they stop respecting you. establish dominance, maintain aura, and your smartphone will think twice before even THINKING about touching the floor.
