Hello boyosssss! I’m trying to get some medication but the one I need isn’t available anywhere to source as far as topical, I can only get pills (Sirolimus) Has anyone ever made their own compounded topicals? And if so what’s the method? Like stability/efficacy? I just didn’t want to crush it up and be retarded if someone has other wisdom 🤣

You are absolutely fucking GOATED. Once you know (and I’ll keep researching too) def the solution! Thank you my guy 🫡
Gotcha!!!!
Found three options.
liposomal cream/gel base its literally designed for topical drug delivery and probably best if your skin is sensitive, i’d say this is the best option.

specialized emulsion or anhydrous cream base
If you have oily skin, go with the emulsion, as its more of a serum based moisturizer, also a topical vehicle.
The anhydrous cream has no water, so it’s definitely for dry skin, pretty thick.
The concentration is kinda unpredictable tho for all of solutions you try.
do you want an ointment? serum? paste?

very hard and expensive depending on what shit you're doing

for example minoxidil
1ml %5 concentration = 50mg worth of pills
50mg of pills is 10 like pieces

and for the head you need like 3ml which means a whole minoxidil package in pill form that's supposed to be for the whole month just for one time topical application

almost impossible because of the efficacy to cost ratio

I would say like a cream would be ideal, just need it to be 1% concentration
we don’t know how much sirolimus reaches the skin or what effect it would have. Evidence for topical sirolimus comes from specially compounded/formulated products, not crushed tablets.
If you crush it however, you can mix with a carrier oil depending on your skin texture.
If your skin is oily or acne-prone: use jojoba oil
dry skin: pure apricot oil or avocado oils
sensitive skin: almond oil
You can also get these in beeswax textures for more of a cream substance.
Mark as sol.

Fair enough, I can spend really as much as I need, it’s for 1% Sirolimus cream. Idc ab price for now

That is true that the evidence zones from topical, but aside from special formulations it should absorb at close to the same rate. I would just be concerned with concentration. How would you go about distributing it in the cream as “evenly” as possible?

wait I have a good idea
Why don’t you just get a topical you can actually get your hands on the crush half the pill into a small amount and apply??

Def would work, I just asked here because of stability, If there was a good way to crush/dissolve it for best consistency, and then what topical is stable for this/what won’t fuck up the active

I will look into it for you, lets find neutral base and acidity for a neutral solution that won’t interfere with the pill itself!

Thank you bro! I’ll mess with the concentration side myself. Appreciate all the help, time to lock in!
