Hello everyone, I hope you’re all having a fantastic day.
I’m a 19-year-old male (turning 20 this September), from Bangladesh
and I’m completely new to the looksmaxing space.
Right now, I’m 180cm (5'11") tall and weigh around 58kg. I know that’s quite underweight, and it’s part of why I’ve decided to finally take this seriously. The amount of information in this space is overwhelming at first, and I’m having trouble figuring out where to even start or what’s realistic for someone in my situation.
I’m not just doing this to look attractive or get attention (though I understand those are valid motivations too). My main goal is to finally Feel Content When I Look In The Mirror, to know that I took action instead of staying stuck in bad habits or passivity.
I’m aware I’ve started later than some, and that my changes might not be as drastic now as if I had begun at 16. But I believe even small, consistent improvements can build something meaningful, and I’d rather start now than regret it later.
Right now, I’m planning to stick with calisthenics/home workouts (no equipment), fix my sleep routine, stay consistent, and work on things like quitting PMO, sugar, tea, and balancing my hormones naturally. My budget is very limited, so I’m trying to take a minimal approach and slowly integrate what I can afford.
My Main Aesthetic Goal:
“Masculine x Vulnerable”
This might sound strange, but I have a specific aesthetic I’m aiming for, I want to develop a masculine face, but one that also carries vulnerability. What I mean by that is:
Strong bone structure (jawline, cheekbones, brow.)
But also expressive or “soft” eyes, slight sadness maybe, and emotional depth.
A face that looks unbreakable, yet feels like it could be broken.
Like someone who’s been through things but stays composed.
If you’ve seen actors like Cillian Murphy, Oscar Isaac, or Lee Byung-hun, that’s the vibe I’m aiming for—not perfect models, but emotionally charged faces that blend strength with depth.
If anyone understands this combo or has looksmaxing tips to guide that aesthetic direction (bone structure, grooming, posture, expression, etc.), then please I’d love to hear from you!
To end this;
How should someone in my position (limited budget, beginner, almost 20) start?
Are there any legit free/hacked courses or guides that helped you personally?
How do you make progress when you don’t have access to expensive tools or gym memberships?
Any beginner checklists or routines for calisthenics-based looksmaxing?
How do I work toward that “masculine but vulnerable” look realistically?
I’m here to learn and take this seriously I don’t expect overnight results. I just want to get the train moving and start improving slowly, one step at a time.
Thanks so much for reading. Any advice, feedback, or shared experiences would mean a lot.
