my driving instructor put me in the road first day and said go and boom I figured it out

how long have you been practicing, and how is it going? and how easy is it
I’ve been practicing for about 2 months and I made a lot of progress. It’s not easy tho bc i am an anxious little shit but I learn things online too

I learned the fucking hard way. I was given unrestricted access to a vehicle and I was told to figure it out on my own. For example, when I first approached a round-about, I had NO clue what I was looking at and almost caused an accident. Do not learn to drive by yourself. :sadcat:

In regards of like the laws and stuff, very easy. You just get a drivers permit booklet (probably one at your library) and read it. Look up videos. That's what I did.

The reality of it is, you'd have some "basic understanding" of how a vehicle works based off of watching other people drive, or watching driving on the TV and so on. Same with the laws. You probably understand the stop sign means to stop. The learning curve is mainly getting used to using the gas/pedals and keeping the car straight without jerking it too much on the wheel (over correcting it). Which can only get better with more driving, it's impossible to get better at it otherwise.
