how to be happier in life?

when i feel like that i just practice selfcare. u could have a day to treat yourself nicely, do things that are peaceful to you, maybe that'll make your mood better.

I agree with this but you also have to practice self-compassion. Treat your failures how you would treat a friend failing, if you fight and challenge your mind and body all the time you will never be happy.

I remember about two years ago I was talking to this friend about how I was mad all the time at everyone and I always found something to complain about and this dude just goes "if you don't like something change it" simple, stupid advice but ever since then I just kinda realized that yeah, most of the stuff I was complaining about and getting all upset over was under my own control. And by "under my control" I mean if I can say something or do something to change what I don't like, then I should do it. Be greedy in life if you don't like it. Work for the things you think you deserve and if they're right in front of you, take them.

tldr; happiness is not as complex to find, it just takes work and a sense of self-worth

@gaviniguess

lately I have been very upset and cross with life. How do I get happier ?
life is not all about happiness, and constant happiness is unattainable
its ok to be down sometimes
i would recommend seeking nature, art, sciences/knowledge for calmness, fulfillment and distraction
take care of yourself and spend time with those you cherish
or distance yourself for time off
