If you want to behave better in a group of people you know, it really doesn't do shit.
If you want to meet and talk with random people, just ask random shit to random people, they will like the attention 95% of the time.
just make questions about them or ask for help to make them feel powerful, and then ask more questions based on the details they give, throw a random compliment and ask for their instagram or to drink with you/keep you company if they don't look busy.

If you're not extroverted due to anxiety or lack of confidence then you probably have a good reason to not feel safe and relaxed. Your instincts are evolved from millions or tens of millions of years of natural and sexual selection. If you feel threatened, then perhaps you are; so do something to change what makes you feel threatened. Adapt to your environment or change your environment. So rather than just bullshit your way to being confident, sit down and think about why you don't want to interact with the people around you.
If it is something inside yourself, then train your heart with lots of LISS (ideally not cycling or something which hammers your nuts and prostate), train shoulders, and otherwise work on your wardrobe, hairstyle, skills, etc.
If it is something outside of yourself, then stop associating with people who you dislike or who dislike you. Access to you is not a human right, you are free to disassociate with anyone you like.
