How to find barbers that do alternative hairstyles?

A medium length alternative hairstyle would be huge ROI for me because of androgyny, unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere, so there is no boutique spots that specialize on such hairstyles. If anyone can give me tips on how to get started in cutting my own hair or how to find underground alternative barbers with no certifications it would be greatly appreciated

you have to learn to do it yourself

you should go to a salon instead, then fix whatever you want with a razor blade

DIY TBH, I dreaded haircut days cus they would fuck me up, but know I just cut my own. Watch a couple YouTube videos and just practice.

PS. Don’t spike cortisol if you do bad, hair grows back
