Fake your confidence, stand up straight, don't let others walk all over you but don't be rude either, just be very firm. Don't be disrespectful to ther people and distance yourself from others clearly rather than insulting them. Even if that's not you naturally you kinda got to fake it till you make it, because when acting out your fake confidence others will re-affirm you, which will then lead to real confidence. You don't have to change your personality, just thr way you present it.
