A Mediocre Guide to Influencermaxxing from a Niche Microcelebrity

I’ve done well and gotten consistently high views and likes on social media across 3 different accounts, 2 of which I wasn’t really tryharding on, from that here is my personal beliefs on what you can do in order to influencermaxx.

But before we even get any of the actionable steps, you gotta understand the rulez…

Part 1 - Da Rulez

Rule number 1: No one owes you anything (unfortunately)

The truth is when it comes to being an “influencer” (yes, I hate that word too) you can spend all your time thinking of a concept, bringing it to life, editing it and adding the finishing touches, you release it out into the world aaaannnddd… no views..? This will happen very often and maybe even all the time depending on what platform you want to focus on. And the worst thing? You can’t blame anyone, because this isn’t a 9-5 where you get paid by the hour, you’re creating content but people have ZERO obligation to watch that shit no matter how hard you worked or how good the product is.

That being said…

Rule number 2: Consistency IS key

The simple fact of the matter is that if you make high quality, good content on a consistent basis for long enough, you are more or less guaranteed to eventually gain a large following. Let’s say you want to be a youtuber, do you genuinely think if you post 10/10 videos with captivating thumbnails once a week for 10 years straight you’ll still be stuck on under 5k subscribers? No chance. I guarantee you at least over half of the youtubers you watch don't make mind-blowingly elite videos, they've just had skin in the game for a very long time.

Worst case scenario at the end of the ten years you’ll be in a situation where you average 200k views a video (which is a lowball + also doesn’t account for the fact that you will get several banger vids that bring in way more than your average views), this would net you an estimated 40k per year (which is also a lowball) and on top of that with sponsors you could make at least 15k (another lowball lmao), so a bare minimum of 55k off posting just once a week, and that's not considering the fact you could make even more money off of other socials e.g. donations and subs on Twitch, Patreon donors, or products like merch (or as we’re all oh so familiar with - courses!).

You may think to yourself “I don’t care that my work life would be zero cortisol brahmin, 55k isn’t enough for mi sovvton saar i need to be swimming in money saar”, in that case go be a quant, get into hedge fund managing or sell crack cocaine for all i care niglet, if your only focus is seeing money enter that bank account then this is not the occupation for you.

Will I heed my own advice and be consistent for more than a year or two? We’ll see.

Rule number 3: You gotta have passion (or obsession…)

Sort of leading on from the second-to-last point, if you don’t have passion for any form of content creation then becoming a successful influencer is an uphill battle, unless you are completely obsessed with the idea of becoming famous.

A very popular example of these twained paths ironically comes from two redpill grifters who both don't have a lot of hair, are racially ambiguous and have both gotten their YouTube channels terminated: Sneako and Andrew Tate.

79ee5f0c314bbd5c3c63ca54bde74cd0.gif

Those of you who were familiar with the old Sneako will remember he genuinely had passion for making videos, he started when he was 14 and would post videos of his commentary while playing black ops, he wasn’t some algorithm abuser who would post 2 times a day, or a thumbnail merchant who would lure you into a click, he would just get on YouTube and give his raw thoughts/takes whether they were accurate or shitty. You saw how as he got older he tapped more into that creative, boundary-pushing style before he got lost in the redpill delusions sauce.

Tate, on the other hand, has been someone who quite clearly enjoys fame. He’s been on reality TV, ukcels might know that earlier on in his youtube career he beefed with youtuber TrueGeordie who was a pretty big at the time while Tate wasn’t that known, and ever since he hit tiktok and blew up he’s done everything in his power to get his name out there, I’m pretty sure he called himself “The most famous man in the world”** at one point, if that isn't the sign of a man who is obsessed popularity then idk what is.

Two very different approaches, and relatively similar results (Sneako could’ve doubled down and kept growing with the shitty redpill slop but his conscience gave in)

When I post a vid and it flops (which is often and will be often for anyone in the beginning phase) I instinctually cringe, but I don’t feel embarrassed or self-conscious because my own videos genuinely make me laugh, and if your content doesn’t make you feel any pride outside of the number of likes it might get then you gotta start re-evaluating your content bud.

Part 2 - The steps you should take

Finally it's what you've probably been waiting for since the shit from the last
part probably went in one ear and straight out the other.

Step 1: Pick your poison

The social media you decide to put the majority of your focus on is crucial , I hate to break it to you but if you’re just trying to go viral only off of “twitter bangers” it's over for you. At this moment in time twitch is very meta, why do I say that? Because not only is the stream itself content, but that content can then be cut, clipped then posted to every other social media + streaming is the new big thing so there's a whole batch of users new to twitch looking for streams to watch.

Compare that to trying to get big on Instagram. It’s hard to grow an active following off of IG alone, You can’t use any of the photos you post on youtube or twitch, it’ll get 10 views and 2 likes if you repost it on twitter and if you plan on on reuploading your pics and reels to tiktok, you may as well just focus on tiktok then repost that content on IG.

(think of this like fighting game or hero shooter, everyone needs a main they know inside out but you should never be a one trick).

images

Now it obviously depends on what type of content you want to make (e.g. an aspiring IG model and an aspiring gamer should focus on very different socials), but this is how I would rate the platforms I'm familiar with 1- 5 for a normie, using this criteria:

Accessibility - how easy it is to get necessary equipment i.e. a good quality camera for YT
Portability - how easily content posted for this platform can be regurgitated to others
Ability to grow - how easy it is to draw an audience on the platform

AccessibilityPortabilityAbility to grow
Instagram322
Twitter500
Youtube342
Twitch253
TikTok535

This isn't a "be all, end all" list, if you disagree, mirin! If you agree, even better! This is just my personal rating (not ranking) of these platforms gauged by the 3 criteria.

(You might be curious as to why IG accessibility is only 3. For instagram all you need is a phone, sure, but if you look at influencers who mainly do IG most of their content is taking flicks on vacation/places all over the world or are usually fashion creators who have are always switching up their closet or buying the latest drops to stay up to date. Both are doable on an average income but you'll have to fraud your lifestyle and it'll do a lot of damage to your wallet)

Would’ve included OnlyFans but it should be water that it's the most OP platform tbh, jfl at you if you're not having 100 person orgies on OF already.

Step 2: Even if you didn’t pick TikTok as your main – TikTokmaxx.

I only post on TikTok even though long term I’d prefer to do YouTube, and this is because the growth you can get on TikTok mogs to oblivion – it’s 1000x easier to get consistent views, likes and followers. You want to be a tech youtuber? TikTokmaxx with short form reviews. You want to post yourself getting backshots on OF? TikTokmaxx with thirst traps. You want to get banger tweets 24/7? Tiktokma- actually wait, why tf would you want to be twitter famous out of all the possible platforms?????

lebron-james-crying.gif

That damn fyp is your greatest weapon SO USE IT, you don’t even need to post clips of your original content, you can just post TikToks where you do whatever the fuck (preferably adjacent to your original content), then just have a link in your bio lead to your YT, twitch, IG etc. so that people who follow/swipe to your account know they can see more of you elsewhere.

Step 3: Upload any type of content you want to do, don’t be afraid to be “niche”

It’s so important to upload videos that completely encapsulate either who you are, or who you want to be seen as. You could upload trending slop in order to get as many followers/subscribers as quick possible but:

(a) You probably won’t build the fanbase you want to access
(b) If you try pivot to what you really enjoy then 99% of them are outta there
(c) If you don’t pivot and focus only on growth you’ll either burn out or fall off 10x quicker, just like every other fuckass influencer who tries the same

This is unironically the shit that scares me the most, the types of content I post aren’t niche but my videos are kinda varied, so whenever I get over 100k+ views on one type of vid I get nervy because I don’t want to have a ton of people following specifically for that content, then realising it’s not all I do.

The quality of interaction you get >>> the quantity. It’s so much more important to build a core fan base. You’ll be better off with 10,000 diehard fans than 100,000 people who only subbed/followed bc of that one video of yours they found kind of funny one time. The only thing worse than no followers is inactive or disengaged followers.

You could straight up copy content (especially on TikTok), or just post outrageous shit for clicks, but you WILL have to pivot eventually. You could end up reaching new heights like (prime) Adin Ross or like Speed, but 99.999% of people who try this method end up washed and with an irredeemable digital footprint all for nothing. Besides you need sub-zero inhib for this shit which no one on here has.

Step 4: If something sticks, repeat, repeat, repeat

This should be common sense but let’s say you upload something and it does pretty good numbers wise, analyse every single thing about that post to try and understand why it did well. The hashtags, was the hook good, the time it was posted, the topic, the visuals, where you looking mogga/fogga or did you look chopped? These are just a few of the fine details that can make the difference between getting cucked by the algo and reaching your target audience.

Once you finally come to the conclusion of what worked, try emulating that over the next few videos you post (obviously not remaking it, try to copy what worked and apply it to new concepts), it might work, it might not, but the most important thing is to be proactive in trying because one day you'll take a swing and it will hit.

Sometimes it'll work

Step 5: Data.

Leading on from step 4, if a post does numbers. Look. At. The. Data. It will actually help you understand what made your video do well by providing even more information such as how it quickly it gained views, the audience it reached etc.

Step 6: Interact with ya n*****s

Like comments, reply to them, just engage with the people who decide to engage with your content, because it rewards them and that makes them more likely to interact and comment in the future.

druskidap.gif

There was this one guy who would consistently comment on my tt’s and I’d always like and/or reply, but one day I stopped and soon after he stopped commenting as well. He could still be liking or favouriting my videos, sure, but because my ass wasn’t on the ball I lost someone who was a free algorithm pusher. Not to mention that when people see you are active in comments they’ll try comment something to get the dopamine of a like and reply from you.

I’ve been lacking in the last 3 steps recently because I’ve been a lazy fuck in those regards, I need to get a grip tbh.

Part 3 - Final thoughts

Is this guide perfect? Probably not hence the title, I just wanted to make an actual high effort (not even gonna try act like it's high IQ) thread on a topic I haven’t seen on .org or .com (not saying I’m the first to do it before someone pulls up the link for some ancient thread discussing it). I tried putting some titles in random colours and threw in some debatably funny images/GIFs to aid your attention span if you're cooked.

It also doesn’t help that I’m not huuuge yet, I’m close to 10k but that’s not crazy numbers for TikTok, I know that if I kept going with my earlier accounts I could’ve been a lot bigger than I am now but it is what it is. I'm more of an attocelebrity than microcelebrity tbh.

I hope you found this thread useful or at least comprehensible, if you didn’t and you DNR’d every single photon then let me know with a hateful reply where you refer to me as a rude insult, preferably goyim.

That's all Folks!

No this doesn’t mean I’m back, I’m still ascending and enjoying-summer-with-my-friends-maxxing but I thought of this idea and felt like dropping some filler in the meantime

It was a good way to hone mental acuity in a non-boring way since all I’ve been doing is going outside lately now that Uni’s done, this took me several hours unironically

And also no I won’t give my @ bc it has my real name in it, but also bc some of you n*****s are weird

Have a good one bhais, I'll be back... soon...

nice thread and enjoy summer!!😸🫶

I should get back to posting again, I wonder how many followers I've lost since last time I've checked

Coming from a nearly 10k TikTok myself this isn't worth it
You get no income
You're community is likely to suck ass and actually push your content back from the algorithm.

I'm shadowbanned because my viewers just send hate comments.
Tiktok auto flags the GOOD comments

You missed the train buddy

2015-2021 was the right time
